Since the wheels have begun to roll out with the RP, I decided to make an OOC thread for out-of-RP chats, questions, comments, discussions, and such, amongst the roleplayers, viewers, and those who seek to join.
And with that, just wanted to let yall know that it is currently finals time at my uni hence the long response times. Will post the latest results asap! Until then, thank you all for taking the time to partake in this RP experiment
Honestly what I’m most concerned about is the local government catching wind of the development of a fire-worshiping cult and sending in the military to stamp it out. Pun intended.
I don’t think Malikren’s followers are nearly so numerous as to assert themselves with force. Not yet, anyway.
Sorry about the hiatus but am very thankful for each and everyone who takes the time to post (and read along too ofc! I see you Apocryphan lurkers!)

Erm, what is the current date in-game?
What Sips said. It is all happening within the Middle Dawn so think more mythological HeroQuestian timey whimey god-place and less chronological history. In short, let ye imagination run wild! The last time I did this RP, I had a small IC snippet to help imagine the preceding history:
"Where are you while the Dragon Breaks?" by. Noscribentaquentobenecha "I write this in the First Era of the Year 1200. Or so I am led to believe. I warned the Sapiarchs of the dangers of the Marukhati Selective, and yet they laughed at me, seeing the truth behind a shaved monkey. But alas they danced their vile dance, and the sky tore, the dragon broke, and the sun became two. I write this in order to help record some of what happened before the un-time. I do not know what is my fate or of Tamriel herself. How long will this last? Days? Years? Eras? All I remember is the finding of the Camoran Dynasty, the start of this Era. The Ayleids saw this as a buffer to our blessed isle. I remember the Atmorans making their way to Tamriel. I remember the start of the Alessian Rebellion of Cyrodiil, them taking the White-Gold. I remember the finding of the Daggerfall City of High Rock. I remember the rise of Clan Direnni and the rise of the merphobic prophet, Marukh, who exiled the rest of the Ayleids. I remember the unification of the Resdaynian Council and the Nords being driven out of Morrowind. I remember the bloody battle between the Alessians and the Direnni, at the Battle of Glenumbria Moors. Another war between Man and Mer.
"There the elven power of High Rock ended. I remember the War of the First Council when Vvardenfell erupted and we had a year of Sun's Death. Followed by the Battle of Red Mountain, the disappearance of the Dwemer, and the rise of the Tribunal. I remember the destruction of Yokuda and how the Redguard first made their way to now Hammerfell. The Fall of Orsinium. The Sack of Skywatch. The finding of Wayrest. History is now lost, for we have returned to the Dawn Era, where the natural and supernature are at one. Time is no longer, and with that, memory will be rewritten. What once was might not be. I remember things that I have forgotten and now forget things that I once remembered. Gods we once knew now meet gods we have yet to. How can one live in this hysteria without fear as the life around us falls apart? My only hope now is to find the Psijics at Eton Russa. They worship the Second Sun Mnemoli. They should know what to do..."
I would like to dearly apologize to all my fellow roleplayers for making this post oh so late. But life in the past months have been rather hectic to say the least, to the point that I have had no time to focus on roleplaying or long term writing. I thank you all who participated. I do hope to revive it in the future, but til then, the spirits of the foretime shall be dracochrysalized.
It's quite unfortunate that Apotheosis is now on hiatus, but also entirely understandable!
You most certainly aren't morally obligated to post updates to an Elder Scrolls forum roleplay, so please do take all the time you need, and if Apotheosis does indeed get revived in future I'll be sure to pick up where Malikren left off.
